NZ National Poetry Day: All Tomorrow's Poets

All Tomorrow's Poets was a unique and exciting event, showcasing cutting-edge New Zealand poetry and situating it in the context of Aotearoa New Zealand’s literary history.
Ten poets read their own work alongside a New Zealand poem which they have found inspirational.

We were completely overwhelmed with our turnout, there was such a great feeling of celebration and enthusiasm in the air. With each poet only having five minutes each, the event was fast paced, fresh and completely enthralling.

A HUGE thank you to:

National Poetry Day for your generous contribution to our evening.
Steve and Greg - for coordinating poets, plastic cups and ice, for reading, MCing and generally being awesome.
Alex for writing our application and for your help organising.
Miriam Barr for your Poetry Day coordination.
Our amazing ten poets who spoke with such ease on a stepladder.
Stu Harwood for your delicious homebrew.
Ellie Catton for expert pouring of homebrew.
Manon for providing extra food.
Our wonderful guests - thank you for squeezing in and listening.
Steve and Ellie for announcing your address at the event and hosting us all in your beautiful home for after drinks and pizza.
